Aloha and welcome back, Kohala High School 'Ohana!

As your Principal, I am incredibly honored to serve a school that is so deeply rooted in the rich history, culture, and tight-knit community of North Kohala. Whether your family has been here for generations or you are joining our Cowboy 'ohana for the very first time, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to you all.

At Kohala High School, we believe that education extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. Our vision is to cultivate self-sufficient, lifelong learners who walk with the confidence to positively impact the world. By grounding our students in ʻāina-based and cultural education, we provide them with authentic, rigorous opportunities to grow into vital contributors to our community. We don't just want our students to succeed; we want them to thrive right here at home and wherever their journey takes them.

They say it takes a village, and that is especially true in Kohala. We warmly invite all of our families to stay connected, involved, and active in our school community. Whether it’s coming out to support our sports teams, joining our parent organizations, or keeping an open line of communication with our dedicated teachers and staff, your presence matters. Your voice and your support are what make our school a true extended family.
